Ruler Work
Have you wanted to try machine quilting with rulers on your sewing machine but didn’t know how to start? Have you tried ruler work on your own and are not quite happy with the results?
Join expert instructor Lisa Driscoll for a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to do ruler work on your sewing machine. If you have never attempted ruler work or feel you could use a little refresher on ruler work, this class will help you develop your skills. Learn how easy it is to achieve incredibly smooth lines, curves and motifs to complement your quilts using a straight-line, arc, simple pointed oval, heart, clamshell, etc ruler templates.
Since using a new product can be intimidating, this workshop is designed to help you get the very best start on your ruler work quilting by providing hands-on training, guidance and encouragement. After taking this class, you will be amazed at how easy and accurate ruler work can be! You will leave with the knowledge and skills to begin ruler work quilting on your own quilts!!
You will need the correct Ruler Foot as well as the correct ruler templates so we ask that you provide us with information on the sewing machine you will be using for this workshop PRIOR to signing up. We will then be able to make sure you have the correct ruler work foot and templates.

Open Sew Sewcial
When our classroom is not in use, it will be available for independent sewing. Come by yourself or get together with some of your friends to sew in our classroom for a few hours or even for the entire day! This is a great opportunity to work on your UFQs (Un Finished Quilts) or PhDs (Projects Half Done), start a new project, lay out a quilt or two, or just hang with the gang. Space is limited to 11 attendees, so registering is a must.

- Open to all who register – fee is $10.00 per person
- Rent the room for the day – fee is $80.00 (this would be a closed session for you and your friends)
