Quilter’s Dream Weekend is set up as an open classroom with each quilter working on their own projects at their own pace. We are available for help when needed. It is up to each individual to plan what to do throughout the weekend. Come prepared to make one quilt or maybe two. You might want to just catch up on your U.F.Q’s (Un Finished Quilts). Name it! You can do it!! Demonstrations will also be featured during the weekend.
To have a successful weekend, remember to consider your sewing and quilting abilities when setting your goals. Think about your skill level, the difficulty level of the project, and the size of the quilt(s) you plan to make. Dress is comfortable and casual for the weekend. Don’t forget your bathing suit for the indoor salt pool and hot tub. There is also an exercise room. You can set your sewing machine up any time after registering and start sewing on your own. We have a Quilt Shop set up for your shopping convenience.
A Mini Quilt Show is featured throughout the weekend. Quilts are on display throughout the quilting room, including the previous year’s Mystery Quilts. Everyone shares show-and-tells.
