2017 Events & Workshops
Our 19th annual Mystery Quilt is NOW available. Kits are available or you can select your own fabrics. Our Mystery Quilts have been a great success. Lots of happy, surprised quilters have been delighted with the result of their “Mystery’s”.
Quilter’s Dream Weekend
First weekend is January 27 – 29, AND second weekend is February 3 – 5. Oh No!! It has come and gone. Please join us in 2018!!!!

2017 Schoolhouse Shop Hop
Thank you to those who participated in the 2016 Schoolhouse Shop Hop! Over 950 quilters signed up and 722 completed the “learning loop” by visiting all five shops!! It was a very successful event and best of all everyone had a great time. Lots of friends, fabric, food and FUN! Over $5,000 in prizes and gifts were given away. And this year over $12,000 in fat quarters were given to the participating shop hoppers!!

Guest Speaker – Aurifil Lecture – April 13th
Join us on Thursday, April 13th for a lecture with Alex Veronelli. We love Aurifil threads so we are anxious to hear Alex talk about the planned innovations at Aurifil. He will talk technical too – so come prepared to learn a lot.
Guest Teacher – April 19th and April 20th
Karen Eckmeier, quilt artist and author will be teaching two workshops. On April 19th , Accidental Landscape – Beaches will be taught and on April 20th, Scrappy Layered Log Cabin. Using Karen’s layered topstitching technique these designs are surprisingly simple to do! Due to the popularity of these workshops, they will fill fast.

How about this… it’s like a shop hop, but it’s not… no fees, no cards to stamp, and all summer to play! All 50 states, Canada and Europe will be participating in this event which will run from June 21 – September 5, 2017.
- The Art of Sewing by Hand – Slow down, we move too fast! Take a break from sewing everything quickly by machine and create a beautiful work of art, all sewn by hand. Crazy Quilting, Hand-Appliqué, English Paper-Piecing, Sashiko, Redwork, etc are all works of art sewn by hand. This is an opportunity to get together with others who like to “slow down” and enjoy the process of sewing by hand! Class is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
