What’s New?
On August 18, 2007 Helen’s son, Blair, was diagnosed with a heart disease, cardiomyopathy. For the last 8 weeks, Blair was at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston. On September 24, 2007, he was placed on the heart transplant list. Only 22 days later, he received his donor heart. Tuesday, October 16th he went into surgery. Unfortunately, the heart did not cooperate and we lost Blair. He passed away at 6 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2007.
We were all lucky to have had 8 weeks with Blair, getting healthy, joking and giving us all a hard time. A photo page was started for him, as well as a CarePage, which chronicled each step of his journey.
Thank you to everyone for your love, support and prayers.
