Project Linus
Project Linus is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization. Its mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need, through the gifts of new, handmade, washable blankets, quilts and afghans, lovingly created by “blanketeers”.
Project Linus Local Chapter Coordinator, Janice Binette of Methuen, MA, distributes the blankets we receive to the following local hospitals: Anna Jacques, Lawrence General, Holy Family, Shriners and St. Memorial.
The Red Barn Sewing & Yarn Center participates with Project Linus by being an official drop-off point for anyone wanting to donate blankets throughout the year.
