In this one-day workshop learn about foundation paper piecing and what Judy Niemeyer has done to expand upon an already simple, elegant quilting technique that allows quilters of any level to create gorgeous, breath-taking quilts.
Learn how to implement fast and easy cutting, stacking, paper-piecing, and speed piecing techniques as well as floating points. All of Judy Neimeyer’s quilt designs for foundation paper piecing use precut fabric pieces designed and cut from oversized templates. Students are required to complete precutting before the class. Students typically need a few weeks in advance to prepare for class so keep this in mind when signing up.
Students should have enough skills at the end of class to continue with their pattern and complete their quilt on their own.
